It’s weird how things turn out. Every little thing you do have their consequences. How that small tiny little thing just changes everything. That laid out path alters with every decision. Sometimes for the better. Sometimes you just wish you’d stayed on that path and not changed it one bit. But then you think again, because of that altered path, you lose some people, but meet some as well. How you wish you can have both. Not to lose any but always to have more. In time, you’ll learn its impossible.

I dont regret not getting to know X. But I’m sure she’d have been a brilliant character. I don’t still wish for X and but I still do adore. I know it’s confusing.

2 days back, I kept telling myself to thank a lecturer of mine in TP. In Year 1, he gave me advice that to this day I remember. I do appreciate. I just dont show. I dont regret dropping out but I do regret not doing so earlier.

You travel from A to get to B but sometimes you just end back at A. Sometimes you do reach B finally but sometimes never.

You know how it is sometimes you are all ready to change your life and you realise you cant do it within that minute, hour or even months. A process which takes years sometimes and halfway through, you get lost again…and again…and again. You find it so bloody hard to reach your destination and wish it was simpler.

You dont have to understand what I’m saying here. I just want to read it back someday and remember my thoughts on this day.

Brina and I planned to head to Ibiza, Spain. Woo Hoo! Hopefully we’ll have enough funds by then. God knows how much I need a holiday right now. The recession isn’t helping us much. It’s retardedly hard to get a job. I’m soooo sick of working for my Dad. Can’t imagine if I didn’t run out of the IT line earlier. It would have been my career. I’d just die. IT career, not for everyone.

Overseas studies seem to get further and further from me. Thats thanks to my enlistment which is taking too long. God, I hope it’ll be soon. Come on.

Indian’s finishing his papers on the 15th. I sense a hell lotta fun coming my way.

Gosh, I really want to go catch this. It stars the beautiful Lea Salonga, who previously appeared in Miss Saigon, Les Miserables, My Fair Lady etc, etc. She has the most amazing voice.

It’s a new beginning. Sadly, not for everyone.

2008 was full of ups and downs. From school, to friends, to family, etc.

Well, here are my new year resolutions:

For my online business to succeed.
A healthier lifestyle.
For my Dad’s new business to succeed big time.
To have more time with the Charmed ones and partying buddies.
To have more time with my true friends.
Start saving money.
To buy a Crossback Gold Arowana.
To pass my English Literacy Examination.
Complete at least 500 sketches. Of which, at least 200 have to be portraits and 50 to be architecture.
Learn how to use Charcoal for shading.
Improve on my Photoshop and Illustrator.
Go for 20 plays.
Improve on my programming.
Travel to at least 3 countries.
Hopefully quit a few bad habits.

Missing Vista

It’s been 3 months on a Linux platform. I’m starting to miss Vista. Mostly because of compatibility issues. Don’t get me wrong. Ubuntu and Fedora were brilliant but there’s just that something about Vista that I miss. Probably that’s the something that has 90% of the world on Microsoft’s side. In terms of user-friendliness Ubuntu would be as close as you get to Windows.

For one, I miss the games. Then, it’d be Photoshop. Well, there’s GIMP but, it’s not the same. Photoshop is just amazing. Of course I do miss Live Messenger. Yet again, there’s Pidgin and others but I’ve come to realise. Most of them are just not complete. They either look good OR have good features – not both.

However, there are some cool things I’ll have to do without after the switch back to Windows. I can’t update every single software on my comp with a click of the mouse. The virus free environment I got used to in Linux even without any anti-virus softwares. Of course, there will be a few others I fail to mention.

Facebook Applications

I’ve started to build facebook apps. Apparently, loads of people have made their tens of thousands or even millions out of their apps. After all, coding isn’t all to difficult. Even if it was, which software developer working for a company do you know makes hundreds or million dollars a year? Barely.

Put it this way, I have nothing to lose. All I have to do, is come out with some brilliant app. Now, what could that app be? That IS the hardest part, isn’t it?
